Witness Your Fitness
Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

1. Introduction

Witness Your Fitness ("we","us" or "our") is operated by Full Cloud AI. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the Witness Your Fitness mobile application (the "App") and related services, including our website at [https://fullcloudai.com](https://fullcloudai.com) (together, the "Services").

Please read this policy carefully. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Health and fitness disclaimer: Witness Your Fitness provides fitness and nutrition tracking tools and AI-generated suggestions. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before making health decisions.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the ways described below. Some information is required to provide the Services; other information is optional and depends on features you choose to use.

2.1 Account and profile information

When you register or complete onboarding, we collect information such as:

- Email address

- Password (stored in hashed form; we never store your plain-text password)

- Name

- Age, height, weight, and gender

- Fitness goals, daily calorie and activity targets, and optional macro targets

- App preferences (for example, leaderboard visibility, social visibility, and AI settings)

2.2 Fitness, nutrition, and journal data

When you use the App, we collect information you enter or generate, including:

- Food and meal logs (descriptions, calories, macros, meal type, and timestamps)

- Meal photos you choose to capture or upload

- Workouts and runs (activity type, distance, duration, calories, pace, and optional GPS route points)

- Journal entries (mood, notes, weight, water intake, sleep hours, sleep quality, stress level, and related wellness data)

- Exercise logs, workout routines, and program progress

- Social and group activity you participate in (for example, group membership and shared content, if you use those features)

2.3 Apple Health and wearable data (optional — iOS)

If you grant permission in iOS, the App may read and/or write data through Apple Health (HealthKit), such as:

- Steps, walking/running distance, active and basal energy

- Exercise minutes, stand time, flights climbed

- Heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability

- Sleep, water intake, weight, oxygen saturation, mindful minutes

- Workouts recorded in Apple Health

- Clinical health records, only if you separately choose to connect supported providers

You control HealthKit access through iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Witness Your Fitness. We only access HealthKit data you authorize.

2.4 Device permissions and sensor data (optional)

Depending on features you use, the App may request access to:

- Camera — to photograph meals for calorie estimation

- Photo library — when you choose an existing meal photo

- Location — to track runs on a map and measure distance while you are using run tracking

- Microphone — only if a feature records video with audio (where supported)

We do not access these sensors unless you use a feature that requires them and you grant the relevant system permission.

2.5 AI Coach messages and generated content

If you use AI features, we collect:

- Messages you send to AI Coach

- AI-generated coaching replies, meal photo analysis results, and weekly narrative summaries

- Your cloud AI sharing preference and the date you granted or declined consent

2.6 Technical and service data

When you use the Services, our servers may automatically receive:

- IP address and general request metadata (timestamps, API endpoints called)

- Authentication tokens used to secure your account

- Device/platform information needed to operate the App (for example, iOS version)

- Error and diagnostic logs related to App and API operation

We do not use the App for cross-app advertising tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.

2.7 Website data

If you visit [https://fullcloudai.com](https://fullcloudai.com), our website host may collect standard web server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed). Our marketing website, if separate from the App backend, may use cookies or similar technologies as described on that site.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

1. Directly from you — when you create an account, complete onboarding, log food or workouts, write journal entries, send AI Coach messages, or change settings.

2. From your device, with your permission — when you allow Camera, Photo Library, Location, or Apple Health access.

3. Automatically — when the App communicates with our servers to sync data, authenticate your session, or deliver features.

4. From third-party AI processing — only after you tap Allow sharing in the in-app permission screen (see Section 5).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

- Provide, operate, and maintain the App (accounts, syncing, journaling, workouts, dashboards, widgets, and social features you enable)

- Personalize fitness and nutrition insights, calorie targets, and coaching context

- Analyze meal photos and generate AI coaching responses only when you have allowed cloud AI data sharing

- Generate weekly coaching narratives only when you have allowed cloud AI data sharing

- Display optional Apple Health summaries in the App when you have authorized HealthKit

- Track runs with GPS when you use run tracking and grant location access

- Secure the Services, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors

- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

- Communicate with you about the Services (for example, account-related notices), if applicable

We do not use your health or fitness data for third-party advertising.

5. Sharing Personal Data with Third-Party AI Services (OpenAI)

This section is important. Certain features send personal data to a third-party artificial intelligence provider so the feature can work.

5.1 Who receives the data

When you use cloud AI features, personal data is transmitted from the App to our servers, and then to OpenAI (or another provider we clearly name in the App if we change providers). In the App, the recipient is shown on the permission screen (for example, "Permission to share data with OpenAI").

5.2 What data may be sent to OpenAI

Only if you tap Allow sharing on the in-app permission screen, we may send:

- Meal photos you choose to analyze

- Messages you send to AI Coach

- Profile details (name, age, height, weight, fitness goals, calorie targets)

- Summaries of workouts, activity, nutrition logs, and optional Apple Health metrics used to provide coaching context

We do not send data to OpenAI for cloud AI features unless you have granted this permission. You can decline by tapping Don't allow.

5.3 How OpenAI uses the data

OpenAI processes the data on our behalf to:

- Estimate calories and nutrients from meal photos

- Generate AI Coach chat responses

- Generate weekly coaching narrative summaries

Output is returned to our servers and shown to you in the App. AI responses are informational only and are not medical advice.

5.4 Your permission is required before sharing

Before any personal data is sent to OpenAI, the App will:

1. Disclose what categories of data may be sent

2. Identify that data is sent to OpenAI

3. Ask for your permission with Allow sharing and Don't allow buttons

4. Link to this Privacy Policy from the permission screen

We also ask for this permission during onboarding (you may allow or decline and still finish setup). You may change your choice anytime in Profile → Cloud AI data sharing.

Our API servers enforce your consent choice and block cloud AI requests if sharing is not allowed.

5.5 On-device Apple Intelligence (does not send chat to OpenAI)

On supported iPhones (iOS 26+), you may enable Apple Intelligence for AI Coach in Profile. When that mode is active, your AI Coach conversation is processed on your device by Apple's on-device intelligence and is not sent to OpenAI for those on-device replies. Server requests used to build on-device context may still occur, but cloud LLM chat to OpenAI is not used for those on-device replies.

5.6 Third-party protection

We select service providers that maintain appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. OpenAI processes data under its own terms and privacy practices. We configure our integration to send only the data needed for the feature you requested, and only after your consent. You can review OpenAI's policies at [https://openai.com/policies](https://openai.com/policies).

6. Other Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information in these additional situations:

6.1 Infrastructure and service providers

We use trusted providers to host and operate the Services, including:

- Database and cloud hosting (AWS and Google Cloud) to store account and fitness data

- Email or support tools, if we contact you about the Services

These providers may access information only to perform services for us and are contractually required to protect it.

6.2 Other users (only if you choose social features)

If you enable leaderboard or social features, limited profile or activity information may be visible to other users according to your visibility settings. You can adjust these in Profile.

6.3 Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

6.4 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you where required by law.

6.5 With your consent

We may share information for other purposes when you direct us to or give additional consent.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When you delete your account in Profile, we delete your profile and associated app data from our systems, including food entries, workouts, health metrics, journal data, AI preferences, and related records, subject to limited backup retention for a short period where technically necessary.

You may revoke Apple Health, Camera, Location, or other device permissions at any time in iOS Settings; revoking access stops new collection from that source but does not automatically delete data already stored in your account.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated API access, and hashed password storage.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

In the App, you can:

- Allow or revoke cloud AI sharing — Profile → Cloud AI data sharing (or respond to the in-app permission screen)

- Turn off Apple Intelligence or cloud coach — Profile → AI settings

- Revoke device permissions — iPhone Settings (Health, Camera, Location, Photos)

- Update profile information — Profile

- Delete your account and associated data — Profile → Delete account

To exercise other privacy rights, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to limit use of sensitive personal information as applicable.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Our legal bases include performance of a contract (providing the App), your consent (cloud AI sharing, HealthKit, Camera, Location), and legitimate interests (security and service improvement). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
